UCHealth provides two types of COVID-19 tests: a nasal swab (PCR) test, which detects the presence of the COVID-19 virus in the nasal passages, and a blood test which looks for COVID-19 antibodies. The nasal swab test is recommended only for those currently experiencing symptoms.
Your medical provider may order a test for you, then you can visit any testing location without an appointment. Or, you can use My Health Connection (free patient portal) to schedule an appointment at any location. For information on how to schedule an appointment for a minor, please see instructions here.
