The Center for Family Outreach

How Can We Help:

The Center for Family Outreach is a non-profit agency who has been providing services to youth and families for twenty years. We provide prevention, education, early intervention services for youth 12-17 years old, and their families. The Center’s goal is to reduce the intensity of a young person’s emotional, mental, physical, and behavioral reactions due to
stressful life situations. Our services include case management, community resources, helping parents navigate through multiple service systems, and support them through the teenage adolescence years.

Together, The Center for Family Outreach, Larimer County DHS and SummitStone Health Partners Mobile Crisis Team, will offer counseling strategies, resources, family intervention, coping mechanisms, and therapeutic and behavioral services.

Larimer County DHS will refer youth and families who do not have any child protection concerns or juvenile justice related concerns. SummitStone Mobile Crisis Teams will offer therapeutic assistance for recurring adolescent behavioral issues.

Our Criteria to participate:

  • Ages 12-17
  • Youth and families experiencing high conflict
  • Adolescent behaviors (substance issues, running away, fighting, etc.)
  • Families in need of early intervention, mediation, preventive programming
